Hey everyone,

Let's post here to share our thoughts on how to best deal with trypophobia. I have found that aversion therapy is best. If you aren't exposed to it. It never happened.

I don't even use the *h* word! Here is what helped me. Just did this last night and went and posted about in on a bunch of places including the Reddit tyrpophobia board

From my WordPress account: "I’ve been feeling uneasy and queasy and retched for days since I was triggered. I turned off images in my browser and looked for information. I wished I could find a video of *them* being destroyed, feeling this would relieve me. No such a thing to be found.

I remembered I have some clay I received for physical therapy. I took the smooth clay smooshed it around to make it bumpy and created some of *them* in it and then I destroyed *them* and smoothed the clay back out. I felt better. All together better.

I may do it again if I need to but don’t want to make an obsession of it. Hope this helps others.
